The alarm went off at 6:30. We actually got up at that time and did yoga, then down the hall for breakfast. Yummy blueberry muffins straight from the oven!

I drove Carl to the Durham Boat Company for his sculling lesson. We were early. Colleen, the trainer, showed up about 15 minutes later and they were quickly absorbed in rowing. I took off to do the laundry...

I had been directed to a laundromat just half a mile from the Inn. One feeds money into a machine which charges a card. This card is then swiped at each machine instead of jamming coins into the machines. Each swipe at the dryer, for example, debited the card by a quarter. It's an interesting concept, but I put too much money onto the card. Fortunately, the Inn bought the remainder back from me.

So, I sat there and paid bills while the laundry washed and dried. I finished as many of them as I could (had to find totals for three others, so they had to wait), then read the rest of the wait time.

Back to Inn to get those last three bills done - one involved looking the amount up on the website and the other two involved 800 number calls for the balance. Those were quickly finished.

So, I went outside to call Jenny on my cell phone - coverage was better outside than it was in the room. I had gotten disconnected from Mom twice the night before. I think the bru-ha-ha over Mom's new car has finally settled down.

Since it was after 1, I thought I'd drive back to the Durham Boat Company to see if Carl was ready for lunch. I met him on road near the Inn a little after 1:20 and we went looking for a place for lunch. After wandering around half the countryside around there, we finally found a place in Durham (J.P.’s) - sandwiches - near the University of New Hampshire. Thanks to one way roads and not many road signs, it took us almost half an hour to find it and five minutes to get back to the Inn...

Carl dropped off his rowing stuff and I grabbed the camera and we drove into Newmarket for a while. It's a former milltown from the looks of things. Quaint in its own way. I shot some pictures there.

Then we drove back to Inn and walked around the grounds some. I shot some photos there, too.

Dinner tonight was at the Inn. They don't normally serve dinner, but the conference had booked dinner, so they were offering dinner to the rest of the guests, also. The owner’s son was cooking and we get to sit in the kitchen and watch. The food was good, but not very special. We went to bed very early. We were both tired.
