General Aztec Children Dragon Frogs Heart Herders Memories Music Polar Bear Vee Violin Winds	Dance of the Fohn Wind Spirits (there's supposed to be an umlaut over the o in Fohn, but I can't get that to come out) is Team Wisconsin's entry in the Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championships. It depicts an interpretation of the bythological source of the warm dry wind that blows down the side of a mountain. This sculpture won one of the two Artist's Choice awards in the competition. The photo on the left shows the main figure under construction and one of the team members working on the lower portion of the sculpture. The photo on the right shows the detail of the main figure as she appeared the second week. The three photos above show different views of this sculpture. It changed dramatically as one circled it.
