Milite Est Vita is Team Lithuania's entry in the Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championships.
The sculpture consists of a gloved hand in a "V" for Victory salute with a ball of yarn sitting next to it. According to the brochure, the gloved "V" symbolizes the fragility and temporary nature of victory.
The photos above show the sculpture under construction. A lot of time was spent getting the glove's texture just right.
This sculpture won First Place and the Children's Choice awards.
