This photo shows a camera similar to the ones used in the original processing room of the Wyoming Territorial Prison, Laramie, WY. This room was also used for visitor's. When a prisoner arrived at the prison, he was interviewed and photographed, issued prison clothing, and had his head and beard shaved. Women prisoners (there were twelve over the thirty year history of the prison) did not have their heads shaved, but were subject to the other processing.
