This photo shows a section of Multnomah Falls near the footbridge that spans the lower drop. The water patterns here were fascinating to the eye, so I took this photo at a higher rate of speed to show the sheeting action. The volume of water coming over this fall, on average, would fill something like 600 average bathtubs every minute! The boulder visible in the pool came off of the top of this cliff about a year ago and is approximately the size of a schoolbus...
