This photo shows some of the detail in the lower portion of Trevi Fountain, meant to resemble seaside rocks. This was taken after sunset. Trevi Fountain located in Rome, Italy, is one of the newer fountains in the Eternal City. Designed by Nicola Salvi, it was completed in 1762. The central figure is Neptune, flanked by two Tritons, one struggling with an unruly "seahorse" while the other leads a docile one, representing two contrasting moods of the sea.
