Tuesday, we got up as early as we could, but still got a later start than we planned. After a quick breakfast at Perkins, we finished packing and loading up the car and checked out. We got on the road a little after 9.

It was a mostly uneventful drive home with lunch at a Cracker Barrel in southern Georgia and dinner at an O’Charley’s in North Carolina. Why do restaurants think that a free dessert makes up for poor service and items on the menu but unavailable? We really didn’t want the carrot cake (but ate it anyway).

We stopped at a grocery store for fresh milk and bananas and got home a little after 10.

All in all, it was a mostly relaxing trip with some late nights, too many people in the theme parks and stores, too many cars on the road. And, for some reason, my car doesn't like Orlando. The last two times we've been there, the Check Engine light has come on part way through our stay. Then it disappears by the time we reach the Georgia border on the way home!!! Not sure which sensor doesn't like what.....
