We loaded up and were on our way by a little after 8 this morning. We stopped at the Applebee’s in Casper, WY, for lunch and arrived at our motel in Billings a little after 5. Most of the trip was, surprisingly, not windy, which is unusual for Wyoming.

After getting settled in here, we texted Kelly and let her know we had arrived. She came over a little later and we walked down to Montana Ave. to get a bite to eat. None of us are very familiar with the restaurants in town, so we picked Rex’s almost at random. Kelly had eaten lunch there before, but not dinner.

Big mistake. The service was very slow and the food was mostly cold and all overpriced. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement...

From there, we walked back to the motel and Kelly drove us over to her apartment, where we visited with her and the cats for a while before crashing back at the motel.
