This photo shows some of the flowerbeds of the Sunken Gardens. This garden was designed to disguise the former limestone quarry located here. The center of the quarry consisted of unusable limestone, so this column was left. It was overplanted and stairs were added to allow an additional overlook into the Sunken Gardens.
